About Karen Ognibene, MA, LPC
Karen has had a lifelong interest in emotional development, psychology, and spiritual growth.
Specializing in work with adults, older teens, couples and families. Her therapeutic approach is creative, client-centered and solution-focused with an emphasis on the present. Although, she works with a wide range of clients with diverse issues, she is in high demand for her work with Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), trauma and related issues, and dissociative disorders. The approaches used are: Person Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness techniques.
